Amidst the chaos of the COVID 19 pandemic the families of Rohith and Spurthi didn’t loose out on hope to make this happen for them, after having shifted their international wedding destination from Jamaica to the Maldives and finally to Goa! Yes you heard that right! Together with their families Rohith flew in from the US while Spurthi flew in from Dubai via chartered flights with very less guarantee that they would be able to make it! But life has an odd way of making things work out in the end!
It was finally the start to a 7 day celebration, hosted at the ITC Grand Goa, a premium luxury resort with only fifty guests in an intimate version of Big Fat Indian Weddings. On day 1 we saw them exchange rings joining together in life’s journey , followed by a dreamy mehendi ceremony for the bride on day 2 , thereafter followed by a smashing Bollywood themed Sangeet Night! With a few traditional ceremonies before and after , it was the day they had been dreaming of, Spurthi walked down the aisle in a pink and green Kancheepuram silk saree to her beautiful mandap where they finally tied the knot! Post the ceremony while the family indulged in capturing their moments together , there was a plethora of voices cheering aloud, only to realise how much they appreciated our hard work!
Malini, the grooms aunt along with her husband Shekhar shares, “with less than a week to ten days to the wedding , our main concern was the wedding decor as we pulled out all reference pictures from the internet and here we are with back to back events with the team pulling it off so well making it the perfect destination experience and we are really elated and pleased that they made this happen. We are definitely big fans of your wedding company!”
In the end , all’s well that end’s well! After having their perfect destination wedding in Goa, the couple flew back to their hometown in Hyderabad where they would be officially registering their wedding before they begin their happily ever after!
